Watercolors

When sitting outdoors, working on a plein air watercolor, I connect with nature in a way that is completely absorbing. There is a challenge in capturing changing effects of light in such a spontaneous medium, but that is part of the excitement. When traveling to Europe, the tropics, or camping in the Rockies, my watercolor pad and palette are my constant companions.
